She also believes in using a strength-based approach which focuses on her client's resilience and strengths. Her treatment approach makes use of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Sharon is a Registered Social Worker currently available for evening appointments and Saturday mornings and afternoons as well. Sharon is passionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic in her approach to assisting clients, and she uses a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-behavioral and Solution-focused, among others. In addition, she is offering telephone or online sessions at this time.

Stella is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Stella approaches her work from an intersectional lens and recognizes the impact of gender, racism, faith, sexual orientation, and social status on identity and life experiences. She is client -centred and tailors her therapeutic intervention around the unique needs and assets of the client.

Oludayo is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with CRPO. She recently completed her Master’s in Counseling Psychology (MACP) degree at Yorkville University (N.B). In addition, she has an advanced diploma in developmental service work from Humber College (ON). Oludayo received her Bachelor’s degree in Education Guidance Counselling from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

During the past year, Oludayo completed her practicum placement at New Beginnings Barrie Psychotherapy and Counselling; she worked with diverse clients to motivate and encourage them to understand their physical and mental health issues. In her role as a therapist, she works along with all her clients to collaboratively set goals for positive changes and practice healthy coping strategies to benefit them. Oludayo works with her clients using different modalities to understand their presenting problems and assist them in developing practicable and easy coping skills that would bring about positive changes in their situations.

She counsels clients experiencing stress, pain, work, academic, and relationship issues. She also counsels clients with physical and mental health issues and women struggling with marital abuse. She provides assistance to immigrants to settle in Canada. She also has experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism, attention deficit disorder, bipolar, and developmental disabilities.

Oludayo service is designed to work from an evidence-based approach such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (MBCT), Emotion-Focused Based Therapy (EFBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, and Christian/spiritual counseling. In addition, she practices intervention with attentive listening, empathy, compassion, non-judgemental and culturally sensitive approach to understanding the client’s worldview and from a strength-based perspective. Oludayo is passionate about assisting people; she is approachable, friendly, compassionate, and ethical in her counseling practice.

Sharon Obiye is a Registered Social Worker. She is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and currently doing her Master of Social Work. She has more than five years of experience in child welfare and providing peer consults on cases regarding Anti-Black Racism.

Ibukun Ogunsina is a Registered Psychotherapist and also a Christian Counsellor. She graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology, obtained a Master’s degree in Information Technology, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Computer Science with Economics. Her empathetic view and warmness stem from varied experience, which includes a combination of work in psychotherapy, counseling, and information technology.

Ibukun has extensive training in spiritual care, skilled in public speaking, and gets energized when she speaks about love and relationships. She has been invited to conferences as the main speaker or co-speaker in several cities and countries. She has self-published four books, and they are all available on amazon.com.

Felicia is a Registered Psychotherapist. She is a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), and Canadian Association of Marriage & Family Therapy(CAMFT). She graduated with a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University, Toronto, and holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree from Ryerson University, Toronto. Felicia is a trained facilitator for Prepare/Enrich with Enrich Canada.

Felicia has worked in the helping profession for many decades practicing as a nurse in the continents of Africa, Europe, and North America.

Felicia’s approach to counselling is multicultural, intersectoral, systemic, and strength-based. Her modalities include Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Emotionally focused therapy (EFT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Grief & bereavement counselling.

Felicia is strongly engaged in the change process and believes in the importance of making the best of what life throws at you by embracing the situation and finding your inner resource and strength to face the future.
